Synod of the Diocese of Ontario nomination form

If you are interested in serving on Synod Council or representing the Diocese of Ontario at General Synod 2022, please fill out the nomination form (download below) and return it to the Synod Office by Friday, September 24. Once completed, the form can be scanned and emailed to Synod2021@ontario.anglican.ca or given to your archdeacon.

Members of Synod Council serve for two years (between Synods) and can stay as members for two consecutive terms. After serving two terms, an individual must be off of Synod Council for a term (2 years) in order to be eligible to stand again.

Synod Council moved to Hybrid meetings several years ago (mix of online and in-person) to enable members to participate and contribute without travelling. It has met online only since March 2020 but is anticipated to return to a hybrid model.
