New community engagement co-ordinator for diocese

Bishop Michael Oulton is pleased to announce that Taylor Lynch will be joining the Diocese of Ontario as the new Community Engagement Co-ordinator for the diocesan Cowdy Street Ministry Centre as of Monday April 12, 2021. Taylor will be based out of the Synod Office but will spend a significant amount of time operating out of the new Cowdy Street Ministry Centre.

In this role, Taylor will work closely with stakeholders in the local community to identify key vulnerable sector needs, engage with community groups and advocates to create partnerships, identify volunteer and leadership opportunities, and develop and sustain outreach programs with a focus on mission.

Taylor comes to the diocese with a background in restorative justice, youth ministry and career coaching and pastoral care and prison ministry.
