Diocesan staff support Lunch by George

Throughout this season of giving the diocesan staff will be holding a food and clothing drive to collect items for the Lunch by George program. Our office will be hosting a Christmas Fête during the afternoon of Friday, December 16, in which we are encouraging invited guests and members of the diocese wishing to drop by the office to share in holiday greetings and bring a donation for Lunch by George(LBG). Following the event all donations will be delivered to the Cathedral.

Below is a list of items the LBG program is currently in need of. Gently used clothing is accepted. Please wash prior to donating and socks and underwear should be new. Monetary donation are also being accepted - a link is provided below to the Lunch by George Website which will direct you to their CanadaHelps page.

CLOTHING:
Men's jeans, sizes 30, 32, and 34
Men's snow pants or rain pants size XL or L
Men's winter coats, preferably with hoods, size XL or XXL or larger
Men's boots size 9, 10, 11 or 12
Men's hoodies size XL or L
Men's boxers size M, L, or XL
Men's winter gloves or XL mitts

Women's winter coats size L or XL
Women's boots size 8 or 9
Women's gloves Sleeping bags or comforters
Tarps size 6' by 8' (Dollarama seems to carry them occasionally for $4.25 but they are harder to find).
Sturdy knapsacks

Dressing (All types)
