Every year, usually the Sunday before the Super Bowl, St. Thomas’ celebrates Souper Sunday. In previous years a pot-luck lunch featuring home made soups, chilis and stews would be served and a free will offering taken for a local mission. This year, Covid-19 restrictions meant the parish had to adapt and instead of gathering parishioners, the parish instead collected tins of soups, chilis, stews and meats for the Partners-in-Mission Food Bank on the last Sunday of January. By noon that day 36 full bags of canned goods and over $2,025 were collected for Partners-in-Mission.
