Bishop Michael Oulton is pleased to announce that, God willing, he intends to ordain Ryan Deyo to the Sacred Order of Deacons at St. George's Cathedral in Kingston on Sunday June 25 at 5 pm. Clergy are invited to vest and the colour will be red. Lay Readers of the diocese are invited to attend and robe.
Ryan has also been appointed assistant curate of St. Peter's, Collins Bay, with Archdeacon Bill Clarke serving as priest-in-charge, effective July 1, 2023.
Ryan is a recent Master of Divinity graduate of Wycliffe College, where he served his final year as Senior Student. His field placement was at the Church of the Resurrection in Toronto. Prior to entering seminary, Ryan enjoyed careers in telecommunications and the tool and die trade following graduation from trade school. Ryan is married to Julia and they have a daughter Gwen.
