Diocese of Ontario: Celebrating 50 Years of Women's Ordination

On Sunday, December 6 at 4:00 p.m., the parish of St. Mark's, Barriefield, will host a special service commemorating the 50th anniversary of the ordination of women in the Anglican Church of Canada and the Diocese of Ontario.

This milestone offers an opportunity to give thanks for the faithful ministry and leadership of women who have served as priests and deacons across our diocese over the past five decades. This service will celebrate the gifts women have brought to the life of the Church and look forward with hope to the future of ministry in our Anglican tradition.

Archbishop Anne Germond will preside and the Ven. Jane Humphreys will preach.
