North Hastings ACW Canada Day engagement

At Your Anglican Church in North Hastings the ACW participated in Canada Day Celebrations with a booth in the ‘Children’s Area’ of the Bancroft Farmers Market. They offered free treats and cold drinks. The highlight was kids making a Canada Flag with their own fingerpaint handprints in place of the Maple Leaf!!

In addition, the ACW sold copies of the Parish Cookbook (over $4,500 in proceeds from the money made has already been donated to local food charities). The booth created lots of interest and they ran out of flags!!

Many appreciated the Parish’s presence and engagement in this community event.
