Bishop William Cliff is pleased to announce The Reverend Sandra Hounsell-Drover has been elected the regional dean of the Frontenac Deanery.
In the Anglican Church, a regional dean is a clergy member appointed by the bishop to oversee a deanery, which is a group of parishes within a specific region. Their role includes supporting fellow clergy through regular meetings (clericus), facilitating spiritual and professional development, and acting as a liaison between local churches and diocesan leadership. Regional deans also represent their deanery at diocesan events and collaborate closely with the bishop and archdeacon to strengthen the Church’s mission and community presence.
