Dear friends, I am pleased to share the news that Sophie Kiwala has accepted my appointment to serve as Diocesan Coordinator for the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund. Sophie brings years of energy and commitment to the types of causes championed through the work of PWRDF. She is looking forward to meeting with the parish representatives throughout the diocese over the coming weeks and learning about the great work that is happening locally in support of the fund.

Sophie can be reached by email at pwrdf@ontario.anglican.ca. She will be supported in this volunteer work by Archdeacon of Ministry and Program Wayne Varley as staff support. The Diocese of Ontario has a long history of robust support for PWRDF and the various areas of relief and development work they specifically address. I am deeply thankful for that aspect of our ministry throughout the diocese which makes such a direct impact on the lives of so many around the world.
