Bishop William Cliff is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. Robert Porter as incumbent of St. John’s Parish in Kingston effective October 1, 2024.
Fr. Robert is a cradle Anglican from Belleville and began his studies in the MDiv program at Wycliffe College in 2008. He lived in Wycliffe residence during his studies and thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant Christian community, participating in the Student Council in various roles.
Fr. Robert was appointed incumbent of St. James, Kemptville in 2021. He previously served as priest associate of the Anglican Churches of Grenville North, assistant curate for the Parish of Leeds Rear and St. Johns Sunbury, and lay pastoral associate for the Parish of North Hastings.
Fr. Robert is married to Tira and has two young daughters.
