New Archdeacons for the Diocese of Ontario

Dear Friends in Christ,
 
I am pleased to announce that I am appointing the Rev. Canon Blair Peever as Archdeacon of the St. Lawrence, effective on December 1, 2023. Blair will follow the Ven. Nancy MacLeod, who has faithfully served as Archdeacon of the St Lawrence since 2015. Nancy has asked to step back from this work to focus on her other ministries.

Blair will be Collated at Evensong on Wednesday December 6, 2023, at St. George’s Cathedral, at 7:00 pm, along with others. I invite you to join in this service.

My sincere thanks to the Nancy who has served faithfully and will now join the Chapter of Canons of St. George’s Cathedral.

I am also pleased to announce that the Venerable David Selzer, who is an archdeacon of the Diocese of Ottawa, will be made an archdeacon of this diocese as a thanks for his service.

Please join me in welcoming our new archdeacons and congratulating Canon MacLeod.
