Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce that the Service of Translation and Installation for The Rt Rev William Cliff to serve as the thirteenth bishop of The Diocese of Ontario will be held at the Cathedral Church of St. George on Saturday, October 21st at 5pm.

We will be joined in this celebration by the bishops of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario along with our Primate, Most Rev Linda Nicholls, the National Indigenous Archbishop Chris Harper and other bishops from across Canada. The clergy of the diocese are required to attend with the liturgical colour being red for the Feast of St Luke the Evangelist (transferred). All lay members of our diocese are also invited to attend and celebrate this special service.

Further information will be sent out as plans unfold.

Please hold Bishop Cliff and the members of our diocese, along with the people of the Diocese of Brandon, in your prayers as William prepares to move to this diocese and take up his new episcopal vocation among us.
