DOORS asks for donations for the Omar family

Diocese of Ontario Refugee Support (DOORS) is seeking donations both monetary and also in household items for the Omar family. Sponsored by their son Mohammed, Asha (single mother, 41 years of age) will be arriving later this month with her other 4 children aged 19, 16, 12 and 9.

The family is in need of donated household items to help start their new life in Canada (download this list of items that are needed). To make a monetary donation visit this link on the CanadaHelps website and Select ‘DOORS – General Donations’ from the donation list and type ‘OMAR FAMILY’ in the memo field.
