A reminder to parish leadership that the 2024 Diocese of Ontario Carbon Emissions Report is to be completed by April 1, 2025. This is to fulfill the commitment of Synod 2021 and report on the energy use in our parishes and to record the action taken to reduce parish emissions usage.
The purpose of this reporting is to monitor the commitment to the October 2021 Synod climate change resolution—reducing our carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. See full resolution here.
