Bishop Cliff's Christmas Open House

Bishop William Cliff invites members of our diocese to the Synod Office on Friday December 15 from 2-4pm for a Christmas open house. Join Bishop William and his Synod Office staff for conversation, food, refreshments and seasonal music. The Synod Office will be accepting food donations to support the Leeds Anglican Ministries St. Paul's Community Centre that houses the Delta Food Bank. Guests are encouraged to bring a donation with them to the open house for the food bank.

Items needed include: Jams/jelly, peanut butter, toilet paper, mayo, canned meats, instant coffee, Kleenex, paper towels, hearty soups, sidekicks (noodles or rice) and pasta sauce.

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit has chosen the month of November to focus on hunger and the root causes of food insecurity. Food banks have seen an increase in clientele as more and more people find they can no longer afford to buy food and pay rent. Donations may also be dropped off ahead of time at the Synod Office prior to the December 15 open house.
