Celebrating Fifteen Years

The Justice and Peace Commission, a joint ministry between the Anglican Diocese of Ontario and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston is celebrating 15 years of shared ministry. Through tireless efforts, the commission has ministered to those in prison, reached out to various social groups, brought awareness about the scourge of human trafficking and supported refugees and promoted Christian social teaching.

Although the pandemic has limited the capacities of the commission to hold events this year, they are continually aware of the social, environmental and ecological issues that still face our society at large and deserve broad awareness, and are looking ahead towards planning for a post-covid resumption of activities.
