Stirlingfest at St. John's Anglican Church

"Aspects of Oscar" at Stirlingfest.

Acclaimed Canadian bassist and JUNO Award winner, Dave Young CM, will bring "Aspects of Oscar" to Stirling on Sunday October 23, 2022. Dave will be joined by pianist John Sherwood and guitarist Reg Schwager.

The evening’s musical selections feature both Peterson’s original compositions as well as his arrangements of beloved jazz standards. Included among the Peterson compositions are crowd favourites such as “Wheatland”, “Cakewalk”, selections from his Bach Suite. An accompanying CD will be available for purchase at this performance.

Following that performance there will be a reception providing audience members an opportunity to meet the performers and a chance to taste the marvellous fare of the region and especially Hastings County.
