Safe Church Training

Diocesan Executive Officer, The Ven. Jane Humphreys, will be facilitating upcoming 'Safe Church' training workshops for volunteers, clergy and staff who are involved in both medium risk and high risk ministries in the Diocese of Ontario.

High risk ministries include: ministries with vulnerable persons (eg. children, youth and elderly persons), positions of authority which allow a person to establish long-term relationships of trust, and/or positions in which a person has access to significant amounts of financial resources or sensitive and confidential information. 

Upcoming training workshops will be held on:

• March 28, St. Paul's Brockville, 9:30am - 12 noon (please RSVP to parish office 613-342-5868)
• April 18, Christ Church, Kingston, 9:30am - 12 noon
• May 30, St. John's, Prescott, 9:30am - 12 noon
