All members of our diocese are invited to attend St. George's Cathedral on Pentecost Sunday, May 28, and celebrate with this special service marking the 160th anniversary of the Diocese of Ontario. A light lunch will follow the service.

Clergy and lay readers of the diocese are invited to attend and robe. The liturgical colour will be red.

Bishop Michael Oulton will be present to host the lunch and an afternoon 'farewell to Bishop Michael' open house from 2-4pm. All are welcome to attend and offer best wishes to Bishop Michael.

Bishop Oulton is asking synod delegates to bring their parish banners to Synod for hanging in the Cathedral on Pentecost Sunday. Please bring your banners to the Stewardship table on the Friday of Synod at Queen's University Bioscience Complex and Rev. Trish Miller will collect them. Please make sure that the banner is clearly marked with the name of your parish/congregation.

For those attending the Pentecost Sunday 160th diocesan anniversary service, you are invited to wear red, orange, or yellow coloured clothing for Pentecost. You can be as fun and creative and even as silly as you like...hats, feather boas, scarves........in short, have fun as we celebrate the 160th anniversary of the Diocese of Ontario and enjoy a farewell lunch with Bishop Michael Oulton.
