Diocese of Ontario Clergy Day

The next clergy day will be held March 11, 2025, at St. Lawrence Parish in Brockville from 9:30 am to 3 pm.

This day will focus on the continued roll out of the new lay readers program, the development of parish discernment for the diaconate in parishes in the diocese as well as a study of the diaconate in historical context.

It is assumed all active clergy will attend with regrets to be sent to Bishop William Cliff at  bishop@ontario.anglican.ca.

Our guest speaker will be The Revd Andrew Rampton of St. John the Evangelist Parish, Locke Street, Hamilton in the Diocese of Niagara. Andrew was the preacher at our last ordination, and has made the diaconate the special focus of his ministry and study at the graduate level. He is entertaining and engaging as well as deeply informed on the liturgy, practice and history of Holy Orders in the church.
