Christmas Eve at St. George's Cathedral in downtown Kingston. With carols for all to sing and choral music, these services are a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of Christ together in community. All baptized Christians are invited to receive communion.
4pm • An upbeat and child-centred service, this service is a wonderful way to get the whole family in the Christmas spirit.
7pm • An uplifting celebration of the Holy Eucharist using contemporary language from the Book of Alternative Services, with choral music and carols for all to sing.
9:30pm • An intimate celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the candlelit Nave using traditional text from the Book of Common Prayer, with choral music and congregational carols. Incense will be used.
This fall, the Cathedral congregation and wider community are invited to participate in an exciting challenge to help strengthen and sustain the mission and ministry of this iconic sacred space. Until December 31, 2025, YOU are invited to donate towards our goal of $50,000. These donations will be matched by an anonymous donor and will have tremendous effects on our ability to do the good work we do.
Whether you worship at St George's every Sunday, stop in on the high holy days, or simply appreciate our presence as an active Anglican community in the heart of our city, we sincerely hope that you will consider being a part of this exciting initative.
