A step along the way in the ongoing journey of reconciliation with Indigenous people.

Program Focus: While this year’s program builds on the program from 2022, in no way is participation in 2022 a prerequisite. Join us for this Lenten Zoom course as we continue to explore how non-indigenous societies intersect with indigenous societies via two very different types of literature.

You are asked to read two books.

Indigenous Relations: Insights, Tips & Suggestions to Make Reconciliation a Reality by Bob Joseph with Cynthia F. Joseph. $19.95

Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese. $21.95.

Both books are readily available in paperback editions from local and online booksellers, electronic Kindle editions and as audio books through audible.ca.

This program is open to all interested people. For members of the Diocese of Ontario, if the cost of the books are a barrier to your involvement, please contact Hastings Regional Dean, the Reverend Lynn Mitchell, at revlynnam@gmail.com to arrange financial assistance.

4 Wednesday evenings in Lent: March 8, 15, 22 and 29; 7:00pm – 8:30pm via Zoom.

To register please email Linda Gardiner at St. George's Trenton, stgeorgeschurch1@cogeco.net, providing your name, email and home parish.
