Regional Deans

A regional dean is an advocate for the clergy and is responsible for promoting mission and ministry within his/her deanery.  Some of the duties of a regional dean are: to call together the clergy of their deanery on a regular basis; to assist parishes with obtaining clergy replacements to cover short-term vacancies (one to two weeks); to conduct exit interviews with clergy leaving a parish; and, to establish a communications network within the area of the deanery to allow important messages to be transmitted to all clergy within the area.
