Diocesan partnership with Habitat for Humanity project continues

Good Shepherd Legacy is the on-going transformation of the property at 46 Cowdy St., Kingston. This diocesan partnership with Habitat for Humanity has begun with the construction of two townhouses in November. Interior work on the townhouses resumed Monday, January 8 after a Christmas break. Part of the siding has been put on. The electrical inspection taken place. Volunteers continue to show up! Site management keeps track of everything including breaks and lunches. Two women have helped in the Church’s kitchen for the last two months to ensure donated foods are accessible. The two Habitat families are expecting to move in the end of January.
