2017 Eastern Stewardship Conference

Serving Communities and Mission Driven Stewardship.

What is God calling us to do in this place; and how do we respond to that call? In other words, stewardship and our relationship with God. The Diocese of Ontario Stewardship Team believes in supporting parishes in their mission and ministry efforts—providing assistance such as facilitation, mentoring, planning, and building partnerships. The best way to accomplish this is to distribute resources, perhaps by deanery, so that we are familiar with the needs in each area and yet able to share ideas and best practices across deaneries and the diocese.

We also believe that somewhere out there, buried deep within the 14,000 square kilometres that make up our diocese, we have people that can help us with this. So if you are one of those hidden gems, or you know of someone who is, we have an offer for you.

The Anglican Church of Canada, in partnership with the United Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church, and The Episcopal Stewardship Network, will again this year host a conference on Resources for Mission.

If you think what we described above in terms of the mission role of the stewardship team in supporting parishes is something you would like to help us with, and you would like to become part of our stewardship team, we will cover the costs associated with your attendance at this year’s conference (registration, travel, meals, and accommodation).
