Diocesan Certificate of Merit

The Diocesan certificate of Merit is awarded to those clergy or laity who have performed extraordinary service in the Diocese of Ontario. The service must have been performed at a diocesan level for a period of at least 20 years and the recipient should demonstrate faithfulness to the Church.

Individuals are nominated by the Incumbent of a parish, the Wardens and the Parish Council. Nominations are restricted to two individuals from a parish in any given year.
