Called to be bearers of hope in a troubled world, clergy often face a challenging and difficult task. All clergy, lay readers and lay members of our diocese are encouraged to attend a Eucharistic service with the Renewal of Vows and the Blessing of Oils at St. George’s Cathedral on Friday March 31 to renew their commitment to their ministry and to pray that the Spirit of the Lord will be upon them as they seek to proclaim God’s Good News in our world.
All are invited to attend the Coventry Litany of Reconciliation at 12 noon on the front steps of the Cathedral then process in for the Eucharist/renewal of vows service.
A lunch of soup and hot cross buns in the great hall will follow the service. All members of our diocese are welcome to attend. The liturgical color for the service will be red.
